Tom Etherington is a highly-knowledgeable SEO professional and Operations Director at Evolved Search. After entering the search industry in 2013 fresh from Uni, Tom has progressed steadily up the ranks to director-level.

At just 28, Tom oversees over 35 team members and leads all areas of service delivery at this multi-award-winning agency, working with Heads of Dept to roll out the agency’s 5-year vision.

His seemingly boundless knowledge of all aspects of search marketing; SEO, Paid Search, Content and Digital PR, has led him to set a new standard of delivery for the agency and one which has helped to pick up 11 industry awards since 2018, including wins at the European & UK Search Awards, Drum Search and UK eCommerce Awards, to name a few.

No stranger to accolades himself, Tom was Highly Commended in the Rising Star category at The Drum Network Awards in 2016, before winning the same award at The Drum Search Awards in 2017. In addition to his great work at Evolved Search, Tom supports smaller businesses on a freelance basis and is co-organising Newcastle Search; an SEO conference for the North East, bringing together professionals from across the industry.
