Digital Director,
Greater Manchester Combined Authority
I am the Digital Director for Greater Manchester Combined Authority with an ambition that GM be recognised as a world-leading digital city region - an ongoing commitment to doing digital differently. Career includes ICT strategy and implementation work for Accenture, MBA from Cambridge University, founding and exiting an SME and previously leading the Tameside Council based public sector innovation partnership iNetwork. Named in Computer Weekly’s Top 50 longlist of the most influential leaders in UK IT (2021)
I'm an integral part of the GM digital ecosystem with a genuine passion for the sector and the people it benefits, going above and beyond to deliver digital ambitions for the region and leads a large and complex team exceptionally well. I believe digital should be for people not profit and advocates for this throughout the ecosystem and beyond and that is demonstrated through our doing digital differently approach here in Greater Manchester.
