What is Digital City Festival?
Digital City Festival is the annual event series exploring what makes a leading digital city.
The festival brings together the leaders, creators and change-makers who are shaping the future of digital.
In 2020, the inaugural Digital City Festival featured Digital City Expo, the Digital City Awards, an official Opening Event, the Digital City Leaders’ Reception, and 50 diverse fringe events across Greater Manchester.

What is Digital City Expo?
Digital City Expo 2021 will be the cornerstone of two weeks of activity hosted in Greater Manchester.
The two-day event will bring together thousands of decision-makers to network, learn and explore the latest innovations in tech, marketing, ecommerce and media.
Expect industry-leading exhibitions, an incredible line-up of talks and masterclasses across eight stages, a 360° central bar with all-day DJ, and some unmissable interactive experiences.
Who attends Digital City Expo?
Professionals with an interest in the latest innovations and thought-leadership across tech, marketing, ecommerce and media. The expo is a great opportunity to get new inspiration to take back to the office (or wherever you work from!), and to make new connections in your industry.

When will registration open and is there a deadline?
Please note: registering grants you access to Digital City Expo on April 21st and 22nd 2021. All fringe events are individually ticketed.

Accessibility at Digital City Expo
How accessible is Manchester Central?
Most of the exhibition space is on the ground floor/street level and can be accessed via the main entrance. All entrances are fully ramped and accessible. There is plenty of space for wheelchairs.
Wheelchairs can be hired for use within the venue - to enquire about bookings and availability, contact the Manchester Central First Aid department on +44 (0)161 834 2700 ext. 2211 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Bookings should be made in advance as availability cannot be guaranteed otherwise. Please note that Manchester Central wheelchairs must not be removed from the venue.For any queries about accessibility at Manchester Central or other festival event venues please email email@example.com

Digital City Awards
What is the Digital City Awards?
A core event in the Digital City Festival calendar, the Digital City Awards recognise and reward the organisations, teams and individuals who are helping to build a better future through technology.
Categories include the Tech For Good Award, Digital Innovation of the Year and Digital Leader of the Year.The ceremony for the Digital City Awards 2021 will take place the evening of Thursday April 22nd, following Day 2 of Digital City Expo.
