Collaborating to get GM residents online
In Greater Manchester's our vision is to be a world-leading digital city region known with aspirations to become one of the best places in the world for people and businesses to thrive. To achieve this, we need to ensure that everyone has the ability and opportunity to thrive, regardless of situation, age and background.

In our increasingly digital world, a lack of digital access and skills can have a significant impact on someone’s life, leading to increased loneliness and social isolation, less access to jobs and education, which are associated with poorer health outcomes, lower life expectancy and financial exclusion.

This is why, Greater Manchester has become one of the first city regions to set the ambition to equip all under 25s, over 75s and disabled people to get online.

This event will demonstrate how Greater Manchester organisations are collaborating to fix the digital divide. We’ll showcase local initiatives already underway and demonstrate how attendees can support this work.

Organised by GM Digital - Greater Manchester Combined Authority. Free to attend.
